150 Request Limit Newbie Question

#1

Hello, I apologize if this has been posted already, but I’m a bit confused. I read that Twitter only allows 150 requests per hour, and I’m a bit unsure of what this exactly means. The website that I’m working on will have many pages, each with a Twitter update feed for that specific page (picking up information relative to that page). So let’s say I have 150 pages on my site, all of them accessing different information from Twitter (for example, each picking up feed data for a different hash tag). Does this mean I can only request information for each page’s feed once per hour?

Thank you for looking.

Hi, i would like to ask regarding the limit.
When i request this REST API http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline.xml?id=XXXXXXX it’s return me
"Rate limit exceeded. Clients may not make more than 150 requests per hour."

The problem is i hvn’t request anything to this url since this morning using my Desktop.

Can you help me get out from this issue.

probably someone within you network connection was having access to the feeds within that hour
